Giftify Cart is provided by Developer Ravi, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. You can contact us at support@developerravi.com.
Information we process
- Shop domain, access session details, and app installation data needed to authenticate the app in Shopify.
- Giftify Cart settings such as widget status, widget copy, and gift wrapping configuration.
- Gift-note cart attributes created by shoppers when they choose to add a gift message. These attributes are submitted through Shopify checkout and can appear on the resulting order in Shopify.
- Basic store and product information needed to show and configure the cart gifting experience.
How we use information
We use this information to operate Giftify Cart, save merchant settings, show the cart gift-note experience, save gift-note details through Shopify cart attributes, provide support, secure the app, and improve reliability.
AI configuration
AI gift-note assistance is a planned feature and is not currently active. Giftify Cart does not require an OpenAI API key for current app use, and AI controls are not shown to shoppers.
Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by Shopify, hosting infrastructure, database services, and email/support tools only as needed to provide the app features requested by the merchant.
Retention and deletion
We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the app, meet legal obligations, and support merchants. Merchants can request deletion by emailing support@developerravi.com. Merchants can also request data access or deletion through Shopify or by contacting support.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted credential storage, HTTPS, and limited data processing practices designed to protect merchant and customer information.
